How we handle your email

This is about the email address you leave in the Notify me box on toktravel.app. It is version v2 of this notice, from 9 October 2026 (v1 said “16 or over”; everything else is the same).

Who decides

What we keep, and why

Your email address, the date you left it and the version of this notice. We use them only to email you once, when TokTravel is on the App Store. Nothing else: no newsletter, no other emails, no sharing for marketing. We do not store your IP address or set cookies for this.

Our legal basis

Your consent, given by pressing Notify me. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing info@toktravel.app; we then delete your address.

Who handles it

Cloudflare, which hosts this website, stores the list on our behalf in its EU jurisdiction. Cloudflare, Inc. is a US company; the safeguard is the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Standard Contractual Clauses in Cloudflare's data processing addendum.
Namecheap, our email provider, handles your address when we send the one launch email.

How long

Until we send the launch email, then we delete the list. Anything older than 12 months is deleted automatically, even if the app is not out yet.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your address, get a copy of it, restrict its use, or withdraw your consent. Email info@toktravel.app; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman, tietosuoja.fi.

Age

The list is for people aged 18 or over, the same as the app.
